CLAIM REIMBURSEMENT ORIENTATION:
Teachers Coalition on Health (TCOH) is the ADMINISTRATOR for the REIMBURSEMENT PLAN under the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP). We have created two paths for you to choose from so we can get the claims from the HDHP. You can send your explanation of benefits to us manually OR our technology team has created an automated process - your choice.
Claims are scheduled to be processed by TCOH every two weeks. That is dependent on when the insurance carrier processes the claims and generates the EOB. Once those claims have been processed by TCOH, you will receive an email from healthplanhelpdesk@coalitionexchange.org to log into our website where you will see the claim breakdown and the funds have been loaded into your Summit Card.
Please read through both options and select which option you would like to choose.
1. To submit claims manually, please email or fax your BCBS's EOB to us: Email: healthplanhelpdesk@coalitionexchange.org.

2. We can also do this electronically, with your permission, giving us access to your health insurance account. If you have BCBS, In order for us to do this we will need to add our email address to your account. We need to attach our email address to your account as BCBS uses a two-step authentication process that will send us the email each time there is claim activity. You still have access to your BCBS account via text message. We are only changing the email address on file so that our robots are able to see the EOB's..
Claim Reimbursement Options
Manual- I would prefer to have my claims processed on a manual submission. (I recognize that this will delay the speed of claim processing due to a slower process flow)
Electronic- I would like to be given instructions now to automate the BCBS claim synchronization

I am aware that my employer has created a TWO-PART plan that combines a higher deductible at my health carrier with a deductible reimbursement plan to create the SAME DEDUCTIBLE and COINSURANCE benefit I had received previously.
I have viewed all employee orientation materials provided by my employer.
